Top Drinking Games Part 1!

Flippy Cup

This is a team based rely game with equal numbers for each side. Team members stand facing each other with a set amount of beer or spirit in there cups. Each person has to down there drink and then place the cup on the edge of the table, before flipping the cup so it lands face down. Only when this is done can the next team member start the first team to finish is the winner. Forfeits are encouraged for the losing team, the more creative the better!

Pro Evo

A firm favourite for most lads! Again the rules can be as you wish but here is a general guideline for how its played.
Set the time to a 30 minute game, this gives the opportunity for as much game time as possible without intervals. If there is more than two people you pass on the control as soon as you concede a goal, get a red card or if 10 minutes has elapsed without a goal (both players have to down there whole drink for being so dull)

Concede a goal – Drink two finger worth of your drink
Yellow Card – Two fingers
Red Card – Three fingers
Rounding the goalkeeper and walking the ball into the net – Down your whole drink
Score direct from a freekick – Three fingers
Scoring from outside the box – Three fingers

Higher or Lower

Seven cards laid out simply call higher or lower for each card until you get the end. If you get it wrong on the first go drink one finger, wrong on the second go two fingers and so on. This can be particularly frustrating if you get right to the end and then fail on the last card! You can only alternate players when all seven or guessed correctly.

The most famous high or low games belong to Brucey!!

Head or Tails / Arrogance

Fill alcohol into the communal cup then toss the coin and guess if its head or tails, if correct pass the coin and the cup to the right and do this again. This game becomes interesting when you have a cocky person next to you who does a big measure only to lose and has to down there drink. The longer the cycle goes on the more booze goes into the pint glass.

A simple game of Jenga with each brick having a rule written on the side of it. These can be of your own choice, some used are similar to ring of fire (explained later). For example ‘make a rule’ or ‘rhymes’. The first person to collapse the tower has to down there drink.

Ring of fire

To begin the game set a pint glass in the middle of the table and lay the cards around the glass forming a circle. Below are the general rules for each card, these can be adapted however you want or changed!
Ace -Waterfall – Everyone must keep drinking until the person who picked the card stops. Keep an eye out for those who cheat!
2- is Choose – You can choose someone to drink
3- is Me – You must drink
4- is Whore – All girls drink
5- Thumb Master- When you put your thumb on the table everyone must follow and whomever is last must drink. You are the thumb master till someone else picks a five.
6- is Dicks – All guys drink
7- is Heaven – Point your finger in the sky, whoever is last must drink
8- is Mate – Choose someone to drink with you
9- Rhyme – Pick a word such a dog and the person next to you must rhyme with dog, like log, and it goes to the next person and the next, in a circle, until someone messes up and he or she will have to drink. A much better version of this is to use whole sentences, much more entertaining!
10- Categories- Pick a category makes of car, Manchester United managers, etc. The first one to mess up drinks.
Jack- Make a Rule – You can make up any rule that everyone has to follow, such no swearing Everyone (including you) must follow this rule for the whole game and if you disobey you must drink.
Queen- Questions – The holder of the question card can ask a question at anytime and whoever answers has to drink. If the person who is asked the question does not answer then the question master has to drink.
King- You must pour a little of your drink into the pint glass that is in the middle of the table. Whoever picks up the LAST king must drink the lot!
