Easy Ways to Make Your Car Look Cooler

If you were into cars when you were younger, you probably pictured yourself driving a super fancy sports car with plenty of added extras and a shiny coat of paint. To be honest, even if you’ve never had any interest in cars, you might have imagined yourself driving something nice and new, maybe even top of the range, when you did get your own vehicle. Few people daydream about driving an old run-down car.

But, unfortunately, even with great prices and deals at Hilton Garage, not all of us can afford a top of the range make and model. Not many of us get the car of our dreams, certainly not at the first time of trying. That, however, doesn’t mean that you can’t drive a car that you love and that you are proud to be seen in. You might just need to put a little extra effort in.

Get The Right Car

You might not have the budget for a Ferrari, but that doesn’t mean that you have to stick to just anything. You can still take your time to find a car that you like, that you feel comfortable in and that you enjoy driving.

Keep it Clean

Nothing is less cool than a filthy car. But, most of the cars that we pass on the road are dirty. We just don’t notice it, because they are all like it. Dirty cars look normal to us. That’s why when you get yours cleaned, it suddenly looks fantastic. Clean it yourself at home, or take it in to get cleaned professionally and finish it off with a polish and wax and it will look instantly better, not to mention newer.

Don’t Forget the Inside

How’s the inside of your car? Even if you take your rubbish out and keep it free of clutter, it could probably benefit from a good hoover and dust. Again, do it yourself or take it into a car wash for a full valet to get it looking and smelling much fresher.

Or Under The Hood

You might think that no one sees under the hood, so it doesn’t matter. But, people will notice when black smoke starts seeping through the cracks. Learn how to clean your engine, or at least take the time to remove fallen leaves and debris.

Deal with Scratches and Dents

We quickly stop noticing scratches, but other people won’t. Buy a home kit to deal with any smaller scratches, but take it in to get dents knocked out, or a full respray if needed.

Tint Your Windows

What you are allowed to do with your windows depends on the laws and restrictions of where you live, so check them first. But, you can usually at least tint the rear passenger windows, which can look very cool.

Change Your Wheels

Changing your wheels is one of the easiest changes that you can make with the most significant effect. There are plenty of options when it comes to hubs and tyres, so check them out.

Accessorise

Accessorising the inside of your car is easy, and there are countless options. You could add seat covers and change the floor mats. You could get a new gear stick or steering wheel. Have a look to see what is available for your car.
